Mr. Rajdeep Sardesai, eminent journalist and consulting Editor of the India Group Today, Chief Guest of the event inaugurated the common Induction Program of the Symbiosis Law School and Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Noida Campus for Law and BBA students which commenced with lighting of the lamp followed by the addresses of respective directors of Symbiosis Centre for Management studies, Noida – Dr. Shrirang Altekar and Dr. C. J. Rawandale, director of Symbiosis Law School.
Dr. Prof. Rajani Gupte, Vice Chancellor, Symbiosis International University congratulated learners by going through a rigorous process in which 50,000 applications received for Symbiosis Entrance Test and only 500 were selected for both the programs at Noida Campus. She also asked students to use their potentials to make the best out of three or four years.
Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Hon’ble Principal Director, of Symbiosis International University addressed new learners with sharing the vision of the Chancellor and how these new learners are the image of Symbiosis which is reflected with their actions and deeds in society and in the world. She also emphasized on the holistic development of the student with participating in various activities in and out of the institutes.
Further Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Dean, Faculty of Health and Biomedical Sciences, Symbiosis International University addressed students of Symbiosis to be a healthy student by providing all support and services that are offered by Symbiosis Centre of Health Care.
The entire event ended with a very inspiring speech of Mr. Rajdeep Sardesai, who advised students to look at this era with one full of an opportunity as compared to the era in which he was born. He motivated students not only with big personalities like M. S. Dhoni but also told a story of his car driver with his vision and objectives in life. He also left the students with few thoughts for success - hard work, believing in themselves, considering each day is the last day of his/her life and use the most of it and lastly fire in the belly for getting something in life. He said passion and dedication is the key to success in life.
Thereafter the common induction program ended with the rendering of the National Anthem.
