Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, NOIDA has always been synonymous with great academics, high skills, and intellect since the past 11 years. One word that has been making the waves and has become an inseparable part of SCMS-NOIDA are its fests and its co-curricular activities that ignite limitless creations and paves the way for future entrepreneurs.
Beginning this year, we proudly present BIZCON ’21 which will be the very first inter-college business fest of Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, NOIDA providing a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the global fraternity and to get the exposure of what lies behind the corporate veil.
BIZCON is a collaborative effort of all the academic clubs of SCMS-NOIDA i.e., Marketing Club, Analytics Club, HR Club, Finance Club, and International Business Club along with the O.C. Clubs who are always striving to out-do themselves and bring & initiate creative new events for the college.
BIZCON promises to be a one-of-its kind purely virtual event, spanning over the course of 2 days being held from the 12th to 13th of March offering a multitude of exciting events where participants can show-off their skills and battle it out with the wits to see who’s got the upper hand and can distinguish from the crowd as the ultimate winner. It will be a perfect crusade to experience and show the mettle required in a profusion of competitions and curated sessions. The profusion that resides within BIZCON includes:
The BIZCRUX is a Business Plan Competition moderated by the International Business Club along with other academic clubs that aims to stimulate entrepreneurship among students. The participating teams will be evoked to conceive a new service or product offering, and then create a business plan aimed at convincing the potential investors to finance the business. The competition would give collegiate entrepreneurs a real-world experience to fine-tune their business plans and elevate pitches to generate funding to successfully commercialize their product.
Clean the Mess an event moderated by the Business Analytics Club, dedicated solely to the field of analytics with a sprinkle of general knowledge to enrich the real time knowledge as well as the necessary skill sets of the students with data becoming the new currency and raw material of the business world.
The Efficient Portfolio organised by the Finance Club is an event helping the participants to showcase the Efficient Investor residing within them and gain immense knowledge about various investment avenues, their analysis and developing their own portfolios.
The B-Quiz is the premier quiz competition of SCMS-NOIDA as well as BIZCON ’21 moderated by the Human Resource Club. The competition strives to initiate deep practical and theoretical understanding about various specializations offered in the corporate world which will test skills like time-management, logical and reasoning skills of the participants.
Sales Pursuit organized by the Marketing Club is an event of the sales domain that boosts the enthusiasm of future budding marketers by challenging the participants to showcase their sales skills by selling a product unknown to them till the last moment.
Decode is a case study competition organized by all the Academic Clubs of SCMS-NOIDA namely the Marketing Club, Analytics Club, HR Club, Finance Club, and IB Club wherein participants will be required to decode the provided case, analyse it and argue what went wrong and present the alternative strategies for the same.
The surprises in this crusade doesn’t come to a halt by the astonishing featuring of the 2 curated live sessions in BIZCON’21 i.e.,
The GYAN session is a live workshop organized by the Finance Club to acquaint the students with the various aspects of Financial Markets and Securities and provide insights to make investment decisions decisively.
The Youth Charcha is a live event organised by the International Business Club wherein a panel of industry experts will deliberate over global issues to reach a sound conclusion and provide a networking platform to the participants.
