Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)


Students will establish themselves as effective professionals by solving real problems through the use of management science knowledge and with attention to team work, effective communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Students will develop professional skills that promote them for immediate employment and for life-long learning in advanced areas of management and related fields.

Students will demonstrate their ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment through learning and application of new skills and added competencies.

Students will be provided with an educational foundation that prepares them for excellence, leadership roles along diverse career paths with encouragement to professional ethics and active participation needed for a successful career.

Programme Outcomes (POs)

PO1:  Provide core business knowledge so that Students should be able to conceptualize, organize, and resolve complex business problems or issues by using the resources available under their discretion.

PO2: Develop critical thinking skills so that Students should be able to develop fully-reasoned opinions on contemporary issues.

PO3:  Develop team building capability so that students should be able to determine the effectiveness with which goals are defined and achieved in team environments, to assess the contributions made by themselves as well as by their peers within those environments, and to identify and resolve conflicts.

PO4: Inculcate ethical behaviour and social responsibility so that students should take decisions ethically.

PO5: Students should be able to demonstrate their ability to assess and evaluate the dynamic internal and external elements of the competitive global environment.

PO6: Create holistically developed management graduates ready to meet the challenges of the future domestically and at global level.

Programme specific outcomes (PSO)

PSO1: shall have analytical skills applying business analysis, data management and diagnostic problem-solving skills in order to support management decision-making.
PSO2: shall have leadership and team membership skills needed for implementing and coordinating organizational activities and managing change.
PSO3: shall have an understanding of how global competitive environments are changing business practice.

PSO4: shall have the ability to integrate business knowledge and management techniques to aid planning and control in a changing environment.
