Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Noida has an active placement cell that works to connect its BBA students with prospective employers through internships and final placement drives. Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies NOIDA launched a series of Webinars on Leaders Insights on Future Market Trends in a four-part series.
Gracing the first session was Mr. Deepak Gupta (Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition, Human Resource & CHRD) Karvy Global Services on 22nd June 2020. Mr. Gupta shared his corporate journey and emphasized proactive HR practices, emerging technologies, WFM, AI, Digital transformation and governance.
He concluded with the famous quote by Dale Carnegie: "Tough Times never last, but tough people do."
SCMS NOIDA invited CA. Neelesh Vithani for the second session on 25th June 2020.
The session referred to three references as the origin of uncertainties: Black Swan, HBR Article, and Sapiens.
He emphasized innovation, communication, readiness and adaptability in uncertain environments. Using examples like Reliance and Butterfly Edufields, he demonstrated how industries adapt during disruptions.

The disruption caused by Covid-19 created a world of uncertainty and scarcity. The session was graced by Mr. Abhishek Gupta, Americas Commercial Leader, Ernst & Young (EY).
He highlighted Industry 4.0, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digitization and consumer behaviour changes. He cited examples like Elon Musk, Tesla, Medical sectors and UPI apps.

SCMS NOIDA organized an Entrepreneurship Conclave headed by Mr. Chirag Gupta, Ms. Meghana Narayan, Mr. Deepak Sabharwal and Mr. Sunil Goklani. The conclave was held on 22nd September 2020 through the digital medium to ensure maximum participation.
Mr. Chirag Gupta is the CEO of 4700 BC Popcorns – India's first gourmet popcorn brand serving more than 18 flavours. Ms. Meghana Narayan is the CEO of Slurrp Farms which was founded on the principle of healthy, tasty and attractive food whereas Mr. Deepak Sabharwal is the CEO of Family 1st a company which works with more than 11 states to provide essential services like free fruits, vegetables, groceries and dairy products to consumers.
The objective of this conclave was to help students to develop out-of-the-box thinking and incubate their startup ideas. The conclave was an open-house session where entrepreneurs from the industry came and shared their stories and experiences.
Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, NOIDA organized the HR e-Conclave on 12th September 2020 virtually on Zoom Meeting App. The event brought together eminent and insightful professionals from the Industry on a single platform, where they shared their opinions, life experiences and knowledge pertaining to the evolution of Human Resource Management in organizations.
