Academics aren’t meant to stay locked in textbooks; they’re about ideas that shape the future. With this belief, Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Noida proudly presents BIZCON’25, its annual flagship event that breaks the stereotype of classroom learning and turns it into an exciting real-world experience.
BIZCON’25 takes place on the 25th and 26th of September 2025, which brings together the five academic clubs of SCMS Noida: Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, International Business, andBusiness Analytics. Each event is designed to test creativity, problem-solving, and business acumen in ways no lecture ever could. From case challenges to strategy battles, participants step into the shoes of decision-makers and leaders, gaining lessons that will last a lifetime.
The profusion that resides within BIZCON’25 includes:
Character Chronicles
This event takes participants through three fun and challenging rounds. In the first round, teams compete in a quiz on general knowledge, pop culture, and fictional characters. The highest scorers get the first pick of characters for the next stage. In Round 2, teams prepare a resume for their chosen fictional character, matching their traits to a real-world job. Finally, in Round 3, teams present this “character CV” to recruiters, defending their choices and convincing the panel why their candidate deserves the role.
Stacks to Strategy: Building Empires
This event combines creativity with decision-making. Round 1 begins with a Jenga game, where the block colours determine what kind of “manager” each team represents. From there, they receive a company scenario and pitch their organisation to a panel of investors. In Round 2, surviving teams face unusual new situations, like a zombie apocalypse or alien invasion and must design a full company structure to deal with it. Teams are judged on creativity, logic, and how well they adapt their plans to the scenario.
Eranomics
Eranomics transports participants into different eras of global trade. Teams are assigned random time periods and countries, then asked to create strategies to succeed in those unique economic conditions. Whether dealing with past trade restrictions or predicting future markets, teams must adapt, innovate, and prove their ability to survive in a shifting global environment.
B-Plan
A platform for future entrepreneurs, this competition gives teams the chance to pitch their startup ideas to a panel of judges. Participants prepare a detailed business proposal, explain their strategies, and showcase their vision for turning ideas into reality. It’s about innovation, creativity, and the courage to think big.
ClueQuest
This game blends knowledge and mystery. In the early rounds, individual team members answer international business questions to earn clues. As the rounds progress, difficulty increases, but so do the chances of collecting valuable hints. In the final stage, teams combine their clues to solve a mystery. The team that cracks the case first wins.
The Analytics Pitch
This event tests both analytical and strategic skills. In Round 1, participants work on sports-related datasets using MS Excel to pull out meaningful insights. Round 2 is an auction round, where teams must build their dream squads while staying within budget. The final round is a faceoff, comparing the chosen teams head-to-head. The winners are those who can balance data with strategy under pressure.
Rapid Fire Relay
A quick, high-energy competition where teams move through five challenge stations in relay format. Each station blends mental puzzles, problem-solving, and light physical activity. The event lasts only 20 minutes, but demands speed, adaptability, and sharp teamwork.
Data Heist
A thrilling, three-phase challenge. Teams first break through a “firewall” by analysing encrypted financial data. Next, they face the “Labyrinth of Noise,” where they must filter out misleading information and find accurate signals. Step by step, participants uncover hidden secrets using advanced analysis, proving their ability to work under pressure.
Genre Jumble: Reel to Real revival
This event blends cinema with marketing. Teams are asked to relaunch a movie by combining two random genres and creating a trailer with a fresh campaign. Just when they think they’re done, a surprise crisis round tests how well they handle pressure. Creativity, strategy, and adaptability decide the winners.
Second Innings
In this simulation, participants become marketing leaders tasked with reviving a failed product. Teams bid for products, plan research and revival strategies, allocate budgets, and present their comeback pitch. Along the way, unexpected twists like crisis cards make things more challenging. The team that shows sharp market sense and creativity wins.
Marketing Mania
A fast-paced showdown filled with brand-inspired challenges. The first round includes trivia, logo-guessing, and jingle recognition, where one team gets eliminated after each stage. The second round, Marketing Bingo, takes participants around campus to complete quirky brand-related tasks. It’s fun, fast, and tests both creativity and speed.
Rupee Rumble
A finance quiz with a twist. Participants answer questions on financial concepts and current affairs, while managing a pool of virtual money. Correct answers not only earn points but also allow them to allocate funds strategically. The event balances financial knowledge with smart decision-making.
Square Off
This challenge mirrors real-world investing. Participants begin with a fixed sum and must trade across asset classes like stocks and commodities while adapting to sudden economic shifts. Success depends on risk analysis, timing, and strategy. The one with the highest portfolio value wins.
Bankers Sweep
A banking simulation where teams run virtual banks, balancing lending, investments, and reputation management. Every decision affects how their bank performs against others. Points are awarded for smart moves, customer trust, and avoiding penalties. The most efficient and balanced bank takes the win.
